1/8 t. salt
1 garlic clove
1/4 c. pine nuts
3 c. basil, fresh
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. parmesan cheese
Sprinkle salt over garlic and roughly chop. Using the flat side of the knife blade, crush mixture into a paste. Using a food processor, mix garlic, pine nuts, basil and 1 tablespoon of oil. Pulse until ingredients are finely chopped. With machine running, slowly ad remaining oil. Add parmesan cheese and pulse to combine. Serve with toasted french bread, on top of tomatoes or with pasta.
