2 c. egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef, extra lean
1 onion, chopped
2 cans tomato sauce, no salt added (15 oz)
1 c. cottage cheese, low fat
1/2 c. green onions
1/2 c. cheese, cheddar, reduced fat, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles for 8 to 10 minutes, drain. In a skillet, brown ground beef and onions. Mix in 1 can of tomato sauce and pepper and pour into a shallow 3 quart dish. Pour noodles over mixture and top with cottage cheese, green onions, cheese and tomato sauce. Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven.
