2 bananas, large, peeled
1 can pineapple chunks, drained, (20 oz), reserve juice
1 pint strawberries, washed, stems removed
1 cantaloupe, fresh-cut
1 lb. grapes, purple, washed
1 honeydew melon, fresh-cut
Cut each banana into six chunks. Dip chunks in reserved pineapple juice. Thread a strawberry, cantaloupe chunk, a grape, pineapple chunk, honeydew melon chunk, and a banana chunk on each skewer. Add more fruit until skewer is full. Set on a plate and start threading next skewer. Repeat until all skewers are filled with a rainbow of colorful fruit. Lay skewers on platter; pour reserved pineapple juice over the top to keep fruit from browning. Chill until ready to serve.
