Oven Fried Chicken

1 ½ c. cornflake crumbs

½ t. dried thyme

½ t. garlic powder

½ t. onion powder

1 egg

2 egg whites

1 t. hot sauce (optional)

2 T. all purpose flour

4 4 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

 

Preheat oven to 350° F.  Coat a shallow baking dish with cooking spray. Combine cornflake crumbs, thyme, garlic powder and onion powder in bowl.  Beat eggs and egg whites together.  Add hot sauce to eggs (optional).  Put flour in a separate bowl.  Dip each chicken breast into flour, then eggs, then cornflake crumbs. Place chicken breasts in baking dish, spray lightly with cooking spray.  Bake 30-35 minutes until juices are clear.
