Ingredients

  • 2 Acorn squash, halved de-seeded
  • ½ t Black pepper
  • 3 T Olive oil
  • ½ t Cinnamon
  • 6 T Brown sugar

Directions

  1. WASH hands with soap and water.
  2. PREHEAT oven to 350 F.
  3. PLACE a squash in a shallow baking pan, cut side down.
  4. BAKE in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
  5. TURN cut side up.
  6. SEASON with pepper, DRIZZLE with olive oil and SPRINKLE with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Microwave:

  1. PLACE squash in a shallow glass baking dish, cut side down.
  2. PIERCE with a knife and COOK uncovered for 4 minutes.
  3. SPRINKLE with seasonings and oil and BAKE 4 more minutes.
