Meet the Team

The Impa' Kilimpi' team is passionate about promoting healthy eating habits and cooking techniques to people of all ages. With backgrounds ranging from dietetics and nutrition to exercise and more, the team is on a mission to help individuals and families lead healthy, active lifestyles.

Get Fresh! is an Impa' Kilimpi’ (Strong Food) program, brought to you by the Chickasaw Nation. Other programs include the interactive Eagle Adventure, geared toward preventing type 2 diabetes among children through Native American storytelling, hands-on activities and food experiences. The team also hosts free, fun cooking shows throughout the Chickasaw Nation, teaching delicious, healthy meal preparation. For those interested in hosting a cooking show, they also offer the Party in the Pantry DVD for educators. In addition to Eagle Adventure and cooking shows, our team regularly engages with the community teaching nutrition education at camps, libraries, garden events and youth programs.
